The Opportunity
As a Call Center Customer Service Representative - Account Services, you'll be the face of Cox Communications, providing top-notch support to our valued customers. You'll work in a remote environment, using cutting-edge technology to resolve customer concerns, answer questions, and offer personalized solutions. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Assessing Customer Needs: Understanding customer concerns and suggesting relevant products and services to meet their home and business needs.
- Resolving Customer Issues: Adjusting billing, negotiating claims, and arranging product substitutions/returns to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Managing Customer Concerns: Providing timely and effective solutions to customer concerns while meeting goals in Serving, Solving, and Selling.
- Staying Current on Cox Products and Services: Maintaining in-depth knowledge of Cox Business products and services to provide accurate information and support to customers.
- Owning the Customer Experience: Taking ownership of customer interactions and ensuring that every customer feels valued, respected, and supported.
- Supporting Internal Sales Reps: Providing support to internal sales representatives to help them meet their goals and objectives.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience is required.
- Computer Experience: At least 6 months of experience using a computer and navigating multiple screens.
- Customer Service Experience: 1 or more years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide clear solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Solid analytical skills to determine the best course of action to resolve customer issues.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing processes and procedures.
- Residency Requirement: You must live in Oklahoma City, OK, Baton Rouge, LA, Omaha, NE, Hampton Roads, VA, or a surrounding community within those states.
Preferred Qualifications
We'd love to see:
- Sales Experience: 1 year of experience working in a position that requires meeting sales goals.
- Customer Service Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, not specific to just call centers.
- Strong Aptitude for Helping Customers: A customer experience focus and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to constant change and evolving customer needs.
