About the Role: Certified English Tutor (Remote)
We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic English Tutor to teach English online to students from all over the world. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Develop and deliver your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum to meet the needs of your students.
- Utilize Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students.
- Access training and professional development opportunities through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars.
- Provide comprehensive materials and resources to support student learning and achievement.
- Track student progress and adjust your teaching approach as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Engage with students, understand their needs, and tailor your teaching to meet their goals.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English (native or near-native fluency).
- A University degree or a recognized English teaching certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching.
- Experience teaching one-on-one classes, preferably online, with a proven track record of success.
- Ability to provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs.
- A high-speed internet connection and a suitable workspace for online teaching.
- Energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful attitude, with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with online teaching platforms and tools.
- Familiarity with Preply's platform and teaching approach.
- A degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Additional language teaching certifications or specialized training.
