Key Responsibilities

- Maintain regular communication with program management regarding course content and related questions, keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Review pacing guides with planning groups and supervisors to ensure alignment, guaranteeing that each child receives a comprehensive and well-rounded education.
- Deliver individualized student instruction during core instruction times/schedules, providing each child with the attention and support they need to thrive.
- Adhere to all school-based protocols, safety measures, and employee handbook guidelines, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in education or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in educational theory and practice.
- Three to five years of experience in providing instruction in the assigned subject area, with a proven track record of success in the classroom.
- VA provisional eligibility, meeting requirements defined by the state of VA Department of Education, ensuring that you are qualified to teach in the state of Virginia.
- Demonstrated experience in providing classroom instruction in the assigned content and grade level, with a deep understanding of instructional pedagogies and methodologies.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
