Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Relations Representative to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our users, primarily through email, and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, social media, voicemail, and Slack messages in a prompt and courteous manner
- Investigate, test, and resolve customer issues, and escalate problems where necessary
- Process refunds and compile chargeback disputes as required
- Meet with supervisor and team members via video conferencing on a regular basis to discuss performance, share knowledge, and align on goals
- Safely and efficiently manage customer communication, ensuring that all queries are addressed within our performance metrics
- Document customer issues and create bug tickets where needed, to help our development team improve our products
- Occasionally participate in testing our sites before and after updates to ensure a smooth user experience
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in a dedicated customer support role (excluding food service)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for grammar and spelling
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Experience with remote work and virtual meetings (video conferencing tools)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in banking or handling payment transactions
- High technical/web literacy and familiarity with tools like Slack, Groove, Jira, Trello, Google Drive, and Stripe
- Experience and interest in writing, with the ability to craft clear and concise responses

Time Frame and Performance Metrics
The anticipated start date for this role is October. As a Customer Relations Representative, you'll be expected to maintain an average "first reply time" under 12 hours on weekdays and under 24 hours on weekends.
