Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans.
- Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans as directed by a BCBA.
- Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and preparedness for therapy sessions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting; 1 year of ABA experience preferred.
- Certifications: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required; assistance to obtain certification is available.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion.
- Logistics: Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance required for travel between client sessions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder; experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education).
- Certifications: Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 35lbs; perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills; bend, kneel, squat, sit on floor level or in a chair, or stand for periods of time.
- Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings; respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children.
