Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, needs, and budget
- Research, plan, and book travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, and activities
- Provide detailed itineraries and travel documents to clients
- Offer expert advice on travel destinations, visas, health and safety requirements, and local customs
- Stay up-to-date on the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry changes
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
- Maintain and manage client profiles, ensuring all preferences and past travel experiences are recorded
- Process payments and provide invoices and receipts to clients
- Collaborate with travel suppliers and partners to secure the best deals and services for clients
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance travel knowledge and skills
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in travel and tourism is a plus
- Proven experience as a travel agent or in a similar role within the travel industry (or willingness to learn)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
