Who We Are
Profitable Tradie is a fast-growing business coaching company built on direct response marketing. Paid Facebook and YouTube advertising currently drives a large share of our leads and call bookings.
As we scale into a category leader, we are creating a strategic leadership position dedicated to building brand authority, trust, and visibility at scale through content, media, and thought leadership.
This role exists to deliberately shape perception before prospects ever click an ad, book a call, or speak to sales.
This is not a social media posting role.
This is a leadership position for someone who understands how strong branding improves conversions, increases call quality, and compounds long-term growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
We’re looking for a Creative Director to own the strategy, execution, and growth of our entire content ecosystem.
In this role, you’ll:
• Build trust at scale by designing a content system that supports paid traffic, sales, and long-term brand equity
• Lead the podcast to grow monthly downloads from approx 16,000 to 30,000+
• Your goal is to grow our channels to 500K+ followers, without compromising on quality or relevance.
• Own YouTube as a long-form authority platform with deep dives, breakdowns, and case studies
• Lead the strategy and execution of the founder’s personal brand, positioning them as a category leader
• Manage and develop a creative team, setting direction, standards, and execution rhythm
Where experience fits, this role may also extend into PR, partnerships, podcast guesting, and broader industry visibility.
Who You Are
We’re after someone who thinks like a strategist, creates like a storyteller, and understands how content drives revenue.
You’ll succeed in this role if you:
• Have built or scaled a personal brand, social channel, or content platform to 100K+ followers
• Understand direct response psychology, sales conversations, and buyer behaviour
• Have a strong desire to grow and be an industry leader.
• Think in systems, frameworks, and leverage, not individual posts
• Are comfortable shaping narratives and challenging industry norms
• Can lead, coach, and elevate team members
This role is not for someone who just wants to post content, prioritises aesthetics over ideas, avoids strong opinions, or has never meaningfully grown an audience.
