Role Description and Key Responsibilities This temporary role offers the potential to develop into a regular benefited position for full-time work or a non-benefited position for part-time work, providing a unique opportunity for career growth and development. As a CSP at blithequark, you will act as the primary point of contact between our organization and those we serve, including members, providers, and other healthcare professionals. Your key responsibilities will include: Answering incoming calls on recorded lines, providing guidance and resources on benefits, claims, and eligibility in a clear, concise, and empathetic manner. Advocating for our members, tracking down answers to complex questions, and seeking support when needed to ensure exceptional customer care. Providing excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and requests in a proactive and professional manner, and consistently meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction targets. Navigating multiple applications and systems while on calls, applying mathematical concepts and calculations as needed, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve customer issues, improve processes, and enhance the overall customer experience. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices. At least 6 months of customer service call center experience, or equivalent experience in insurance, retail, banking, hospital, medical office, or a similar industry with extensive customer contact. Proficient PC skills, including the ability to navigate multiple applications and systems while on calls, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (preferred), with a willingness to learn and adapt to changes in products and regulations. Excellent multitasking skills, resilience, patience, and a positive attitude in the face of challenges, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Previous experience in a healthcare or insurance setting, with a strong understanding of Medicare and related products and services. Advanced PC skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other software applications. Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer populations. Experience with quality monitoring and evaluation, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
