About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Healthcare Patient Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. Primary Responsibilities Answer patient calls regarding Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and research balances, providing clear and concise explanations and resolutions. Manage patient refunds, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Process patient payments, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections, with a thorough understanding of commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare reimbursement processes. Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement principles, including EOBs and patient payment processing. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, clients, and internal stakeholders. Extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A strong customer service orientation, with a focus on providing positive experiences for clients, guests, and patients.
