Key Responsibilities Help patients understand their pharmacy benefits better by using your knowledge, problem-solving skills, and support from your team to answer patient calls effectively Keep track of patient interactions by documenting all calls and interactions in real-time, using your expert listening skills to get to the heart of a patient's question quickly Ensure patients are equipped with the best advice by identifying and empathetically addressing patient concerns and escalating issues as necessary Collaborate with other team members to deliver seamless and personalized support to our patients, working together to resolve complex issues and improve patient outcomes Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in healthcare and pharmacy benefits, continuously updating your knowledge and skills to provide the best possible support to our patients Essential Qualifications High School Diploma / GED required, with a strong foundation in customer service and communication 1 year of relevant customer care experience, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy setting Intermediate to Advanced PC knowledge, with the ability to navigate multiple screens and systems Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to empathize with patients and provide clear and concise support Flexibility to work specified shifts and extended hours as necessary, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Preferred Qualifications College or Junior College education with a healthcare focus, providing a strong foundation in medical terminology and healthcare principles Medical Terminology training, with a deep understanding of healthcare concepts and terminology Pharmacy or Benefits training, with experience working with pharmacy benefits and healthcare systems Skills and Competencies Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and personalized support to patients Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, team members, and other stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide effective solutions Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
