This role is essential for maintaining accurate records and supporting various operational functions through efficient data entry. **Position Overview** The Data Entry Typist will be responsible for entering, updating, and verifying data in a variety of formats, ensuring accuracy and consistency across company systems. This role requires someone who is highly organized, efficient, and capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity. The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote work environment. **Key Responsibilities** * **Data Entry & Typing** + Accurately input property-related data, including tenant information, lease agreements, financial transactions, and maintenance requests, into company databases and systems. + Type documents, letters, and reports as needed for property management, leasing, and other operational purposes. + Ensure that all data is entered in a timely manner and is consistent across various systems, spreadsheets, and databases. + Perform routine data entry tasks, ensuring that all information is processed efficiently and with minimal errors. * **Data Quality & Accuracy** + Regularly check for discrepancies or errors in data and correct them promptly. + Verify the accuracy of entered data through quality control processes, ensuring all fields are complete and correct. + Perform data audits as required to maintain high standards of data integrity. + Flag missing or incomplete data for follow-up and ensure all records are up-to-date. * **Administrative & Documentation Support** + Prepare, organize, and maintain digital files and documents related to leases, contracts, and other property management records. + Assist with typing and formatting correspondence, lease documents, and reports. + Organize and store electronic documents in an easily accessible manner for future retrieval. + Provide administrative support to the property management and operations teams as needed, including generating simple reports and data summaries. * **Collaboration & Communication** + Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other departments to clarify data entry requirements and resolve any discrepancies or issues. + Respond to internal requests for data or information in a timely and efficient manner. + Work closely with other team members to ensure all data-related tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. * **Confidentiality & Compliance** + Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, ensuring compliance with company policies and data privacy standards. + Adhere to established protocols for data entry and document handling to ensure consistency and security across all records. **Qualifications** * **Education**: High School diploma or equivalent required.
