Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Greer, SC. As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a vital role in supporting our site and regional operations by providing data entry, record-keeping, and other office support services. Your primary objective will be to ensure a high level of customer service for both internal and external customers while contributing to the company's Quality Policies and Quality Management System (QMS). Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Providing paper and electronic data reports upon request to internal and external customers Entering data into internal and external customer portals with accuracy and efficiency Following up to obtain required documentation and ensuring timely completion of tasks Providing reports as requested and maintaining accurate records of company information Verifying defects identified by inspectors and collecting and entering data into databases Creating and maintaining charts and graphs to support operational excellence Demonstrating commitment to reducing the risk of workplace accidents and complying with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies Performing administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties as required Obtaining signatures as needed and escalating issues as necessary Electronically storing all required job documents, including data, charts, and imaging, according to blithequark's filing conventions Conducting audits on electronic job files to ensure required documents have been stored by all departments Ensuring hard copy data is filed per ISO standards and verifying and balancing data entries Auditing entries for accuracy and performing other duties as assigned Essential Qualifications To be successful as a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will need: Proficiency in the English language and excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with spreadsheets and online forms, as well as working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Attention to detail and superior data entry and typing skills Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and multitask in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated flexibility and ability to take initiative and recognize needs High School Diploma or Equivalent, with a secondary school diploma being an asset 2+ years of work experience in data entry, with working knowledge of the automotive/manufacturing industry preferred Experience with quality systems or quality training being an asset Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Working knowledge of quality systems and quality training Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry Secondary school diploma or equivalent Proficiency in multiple languages Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
