About the Role As our first Customer Success Manager, you will play a vital role in driving growth, happiness, and retention among our existing client base. You will report directly to our CEO and work closely with our Support and Sales teams to ensure seamless onboarding, upsells, and overall customer satisfaction. We're looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, scrappy, and proactive – someone who is willing to dive into different parts of the business as needed and build processes that will shape the future of our customer success function. Key Responsibilities Own Upsells and Retention: You will be responsible for growth and happiness within our existing account base, focusing on renewals and expansion. This includes identifying opportunities for upsells, cross-sells, and account growth, and developing strategies to achieve these goals. Manage Key Accounts: You will handle all accounts above a certain MRR threshold, developing strong relationships, understanding their business, and proactively addressing their needs. This includes regular check-ins, quarterly business reviews, and strategic planning to ensure our clients are getting the most out of our solutions. Provide Onboarding Calls: For new customers on Professional tiers and above, you will deliver thorough, friendly onboarding sessions to ensure they get value fast. This includes walking them through our solutions, answering questions, and providing guidance on how to get started. Provide Support for Priority Accounts: For accounts with a dedicated CSM, you will be the first point of contact for support. This includes responding to priority support tickets, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to our technical team when necessary. Become a blithequark Expert: You will master our solutions, including workspace setup, customization, and automations. This includes staying up-to-date with new features, best practices, and industry trends, and being able to communicate this knowledge to our clients. Help Out in Other Areas: Whether it's giving a sales demo when our schedule is slammed or responding to priority support tickets, you will be comfortable wearing different hats to keep things running smoothly. This includes being flexible, adaptable, and willing to lend a hand when needed. Who You Are We're looking for someone who is experienced, customer-centric, tech-savvy, and scrappy. You should have at least 1 year of experience in a Customer Success Manager role (or similar) and be able to point to real results you've driven. You should be passionate about building relationships, solving problems, and advocating for customers internally.
