You'll work closely with our internal teams, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner. Your primary goal will be to deliver compassionate, genuine care to our customers, ensuring their financial and clinical expectations are met prior to fulfillment. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide top-notch customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, handling a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and reverifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts * Obtain authorizations, work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners * Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously **Essential Qualifications** * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Must reside in Pennsylvania and live within 75 miles of Monroeville, PA **Preferred Qualifications** * Pre-existing healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions **Education** * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent **Anticipated Weekly Hours** * 40 hours per week **Time Type** * Full-time **Pay Range** * The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour.
