Our team is passionate about providing an exceptional level of service to our customers, and we're looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm and values. **What does the role involve?** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative & Mandarin & English Speaker, you'll be the face of blithequark, engaging and delighting our customers through various channels, including chat, email, phone, and social media. You'll be responsible for resolving complex customer queries, mediating disputes between sellers and buyers, and ensuring that customer complaints are addressed in a timely and effective manner. You'll work closely with our Sales and Expert teams to improve the overall customer experience, providing valuable feedback on opportunities for improvement in our services. Your role will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers return to our platform regularly, directly contributing to the growth of our business. **This is who you are** To succeed in this role, you'll need to be motivated by providing exceptional customer experiences, with strong communication skills in Mandarin and English. You'll be analytical and critical thinking, with a patient and empathetic approach to problem-solving. Your experience in a customer service environment or a customer-related role (hospitality, tourism, retail, call-center, etc.) will be beneficial, as will your ability to quickly switch between various customer channels. **Key responsibilities:** * Provide exceptional customer service through various channels, including chat, email, phone, and social media * Resolve complex customer queries and mediate disputes between sellers and buyers * Ensure that customer complaints are addressed in a timely and effective manner * Work closely with Sales and Expert teams to improve the overall customer experience * Provide valuable feedback on opportunities for improvement in our services * Analyze customer data to identify trends and areas for improvement **Essential qualifications:** * Professional speaking and writing skills in Mandarin and English * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills * Previous experience in a customer service environment or a customer-related role (hospitality, tourism, retail, call-center, etc.) * Ability to quickly switch between various customer channels * Ability to positively interact with your team and other departments * Available to work 40 hours per week * Willing to commute to our Lisbon office and work in the office at least 2 days per week * Flexible with working at least 2 weekends a month and on some public holidays **Preferred qualifications:** * Previous experience in a similar role at a fast-paced, dynamic company * Experience working with a diverse team and customer base * Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software * Experience with data analysis and reporting **Skills and competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team **Career growth opportunities and learning benefits:** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
