GIS Mapping Analyst (Remote - U.S. Based, East Coast Schedule)
Job Description Job Description This is a remote position. We’re looking for an experienced and meticulous GIS Mapping Analyst to support our nationwide field operations. This remote role involves updating and maintaining GIS datasets, particularly integrating As-built work orders submitted from the field. You’ll play a key role in ensuring data integrity and spatial accuracy across our systems. Responsibilities - Upload and revise GIS data based on As-built documentation from field crews - Ensure precision and consistency across mapping platforms - Partner with internal teams to streamline data workflows - Identify and correct mapping inconsistencies - Participate in training sessions (in-person attendance may be required) Requirements Qualifications - 5–10 years of direct GIS mapping and analysis experience - Proven ability to post and update GIS records with high accuracy - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions thoroughly - Familiarity with As-built workflows and field data integration - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship - Must reside in the U.S. and be available for potential in-person training - Comfortable working standard East Coast hours Benefits Access to PTO, Medical Benefits & 401K Contract Role: 12 months (extension possible) Work Arrangement: Fully remote (U.S. residents only; no sponsorship available) Schedule: Must be available during Eastern Time business hours
