Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a part-time basis, working 3 days a week with flexible days. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers via phone and text, ensuring that every interaction is professional, courteous, and resolves their inquiries promptly. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home, but requires availability during our designated on-call hours of 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM PST on scheduled days. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including: Handling a moderate call volume of 15-25 calls per day, with an average call length of 6 minutes, to provide accurate information and support to customers regarding our services and general inquiries. Responding to text messages and resolving customer inquiries promptly, ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner. Providing exceptional customer support, troubleshooting any issues, and escalating when necessary to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience. Creating and managing the crew's weekly schedules, ensuring that all shifts are covered and any last-minute changes are addressed, to maintain seamless operations. Monitoring the crew's group chat during peak hours (11:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST) to address questions, solve problems, and provide guidance as needed, ensuring that our team is supported and informed. Regularly checking and responding to company emails, ensuring prompt communication with customers and internal team members, to maintain open lines of communication. Responding to guest reviews, ensuring professional and courteous communication at all times, to maintain our high standards of customer service. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong focus on attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and think critically to resolve customer issues. Proficiency in using email, messaging apps, and phone systems, with the ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly. The ability to manage time effectively and work independently, with minimal supervision, to achieve goals and objectives. Previous experience in customer service or scheduling is highly desirable, although not essential, as we provide comprehensive training and support to our team members. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in the hospitality industry, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that this sector presents. Experience with scheduling software and systems, with the ability to create and manage complex schedules and rotas.
