Key Responsibilities Provide polite, efficient, friendly, and professional customer service via email and chat, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution Advance and sell air travel to the traveling public or cargo forwarders, utilizing excellent communication and sales skills Assist with passenger check-in and freight acceptance, ensuring a seamless and efficient process Interpret government regulations and requirements for domestic and international travel or freight shipments, staying up-to-date with industry developments Meet and dispatch aircraft within established times, ensuring safe and efficient operations Provide support to distressed travelers and clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding Safeguard company property and revenue, adhering to strict security protocols Utilize organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time frame, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively Answer and assist during security and emergency situations, remaining calm and composed under pressure Follow internal/external policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards May be required to drive and operate air stairs to different types of aircraft to enplane and deplane passengers, depending on operational needs Responsible for the overall performance within the workspace and may be required to lead and direct the work of other employees, demonstrating leadership and mentoring skills May be required to perform Passenger Activity Control functions, including air-to-ground communication, depending on operational requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong educational foundation Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently, with bilingual language skills preferred in certain locations Valid driver's license, as required by local authorities, and ability to obtain airport security clearance, if applicable Ability to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability Must be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis, ensuring reliability and dependability Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations Knowledge of air travel regulations, cargo shipping, and industry-specific software, staying up-to-date with industry developments Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and teamwork skills Strong organizational and leadership skills, with ability to lead and direct the work of others, if required Skills and Competencies Excellent customer service and communication skills, with ability to provide personalized solutions and resolve issues effectively Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to think critically and outside the box Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and teamwork skills Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with ability to lead and direct the work of others, if required Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
