Job Overview As a Chinese Customer Chat Support Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in responding to inquiries and providing chat support to our Chinese-speaking customers via various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary objective will be to ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, troubleshooting problems, and providing timely and effective solutions. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries and provide chat support to Chinese-speaking customers via phone, email, chat, or other communication channels. Utilize active listening and a consultative approach to understand customer issues and needs, and recommend appropriate solutions or assistance. Address customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely and effective solutions while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken Chinese, with excellent grammar and communication skills. Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer chat support processes. What You Bring to the Table To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: Native or near-native proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese. Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Essential Qualifications In addition to the above skills and qualifications, the ideal candidate will: Be willing to work full-time in the AEDT time zone, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 12-8 pm (may vary depending on the season). Be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. Have experience working in a customer-facing role, preferably in a chat support or call center environment. Be proficient in using computer software and technology, including chat support platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Previous experience working in an online education or e-learning environment. Familiarity with Australian culture and customs. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those spoken in the Asia-Pacific region. Experience with sales or marketing, particularly in a customer-facing role.
