Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional bilingual (English/Spanish) customer service to citizens with questions or concerns about speed camera enforcement tickets, ensuring clear and respectful assistance. Review, validate, and approve automated speed enforcement events to ensure compliance and accuracy, applying your knowledge of law enforcement procedures for fair and consistent event reviews. Accurately document case details and escalate issues as necessary, maintaining thorough records and ensuring seamless communication. Educate citizens on ASE processes while maintaining professionalism and empathy, providing a positive experience even in challenging situations. Utilize blithequark's software platforms to manage cases and approvals efficiently, staying tech-savvy and comfortable with using software including Microsoft Office applications. Contribute to team efforts aimed at improving service quality and community trust, participating in ongoing virtual training and support to enhance your skills and knowledge. Essential Qualifications Former sworn police officer experience, bringing a deep understanding of law enforcement procedures and the ability to interpret and explain them clearly to citizens. Bilingual in English and Spanish (both oral and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of citizens. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills, with a proven ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy. Ability to work independently in a remote setting after initial training, with a high level of self-motivation and discipline. Tech-savvy, with comfort in using software applications and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a call center or public-facing customer service role, particularly in a law enforcement or related field, is highly desirable.
