Account Manager, Clinical Laboratory/Transfusion Medicine
Job Description: • Drive sales with current customers for all CL and TM products, instrumentation, and services within assigned territory or named accounts • Meet equipment revenue targets and grow assay and reagent utilization • Maximize customer retention by ensuring satisfaction, executing touchpoint/call plans, territory management, single point of contact for problem resolutions, and anticipating competitive threats • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to prioritize, retain, and expand accounts • Partner with sales partners to drive instrument and assay retention opportunities • Develop and execute customer touchpoint/call plans; manage opportunities within and outside buying/sales cycle; leverage strategic selling framework to close opportunities • Provide prompt and accurate sales forecasts, activity, account updates, and reports via CRM • Manage sales pipeline from lead acquisition to contract signing • Represent QuidelOrtho at trade shows and professional meetings • Coordinate with Field Service, Project Management, Technical Specialists, Distribution Partners, Marketing & Commercial Enablement, and QuidelOrtho Management to ensure customer satisfaction and account strategy Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the Healthcare industry required with knowledge of B2B sales and/or capital equipment • Sales and/or technical experience in the medical device/life science/diagnostic market required • Strong strategic marketing, consultation and data analysis skills • Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to translate strategies into tactical plans • Ability to deliver results while working independently in a fast-paced team environment • Commercial & Business acumen • Proficient at uncovering key business issues and providing actionable recommendations • Entry-level people management and people development skills • Manages complex sales cycle internally and externally • Ability to analyze financial data and generate logical strategies and plans • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Strong presentation and negotiation skills • Proficiency in selling with digital assets • Solid communication skills – written and verbal • Ability to uphold and support individual and company values • High degree of ethics and professionalism • Ability to handle confidential information • Ability to work under general supervision following established procedures • Travel: Up to 70% domestic overnight travel Benefits: • medical • dental • vision • life • disability insurance • 401(k) plan • employee assistance program • Employee Stock Purchase Plan • paid time off (including sick time) • paid Holidays
