Travel Startup - Operations & Customer Support (Email, Phone, WhatsApp, Live Chat)
Lokafy is a global platform that connects travellers with locals for private walking tours in cities around the world. We’re looking for someone to support our operations team, especially during lighter coverage hours when fewer team members are online. You’ll often be the one making real-time decisions to resolve issues, so strong judgment, communication, and resourcefulness are key. What you’ll be doing: Responding to travellers and Lokafyers (local guides) via email, phone, WhatsApp/text, and live chat. Coordinating tours and handling time-sensitive situations (e.g., cancellations, rescheduling, meeting point changes). Calling travellers or Lokafyers when necessary to find quick solutions. Researching or troubleshooting issues independently when no one else is online to assist. Requirements: Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential. Ability to work independently and make thoughtful decisions quickly. Strong communication and calm under pressure. Bonus if you also speak Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, or Italian. Working Hours: We are specifically looking for someone who can cover hours where we have fewer team members available.
