Sr. Survey Research Analyst (Data Manager) - Remote

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for end-to-end survey data management for new and ongoing studies that include Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) or other surveys. Primary responsibilities include assisting with PRO study builds and maintenance in Qualtrics and Salesforce. Additional responsibilities include actively participating in start-up and close-out activities, development and execution of procedures for data quality review, and reporting PRO survey compliance to study project managers and other key stakeholders. This is a remote position (US). #LI-Remote Check out our video Saving Lives: It's the Best Job Ever ACCOUNTABILITIES: Responsible for PRO survey data management activities from study start-up to study closure: • Ensure study protocol and consent accurately describe PRO content, data collection and management. • Provide survey development and data management updates to protocol and study operations teams. • Build and document PRO survey forms in Qualtrics and test integrations with PROMIS API and Salesforce. • Coordinate and perform data extracts and data quality checks. • Identify problems and communicate potential corrective and preventive actions to study teams and other stakeholders. • Develop paper versions of PRO surveys and ensure form quality. • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements for survey data capture and storage, company SOPs and study-specific procedures and plans. • Support troubleshooting of survey technical issues during data collection phase. • Develop study-specific PRO procedure and instruction documents. • Track and report ongoing PRO compliance. • Support protocol and study operations teams in required data management reporting. • Participate in process development initiatives. • Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of: • Strong working knowledge of survey design and data management, including configuration experience in cloud-based survey platforms. • Best practices in electronic, pen-and-paper, and phone-based survey data collection. • Proficiency in computer skills across multiple applications. Ability to: • Demonstrate understanding of online survey data structures and communicate survey design to clinical study teams. • Exhibit excellent communication skills, written and oral, with people of all technical levels. • Work both independently and in a complex team environment. • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks. • Acquire and apply new technical skills. Education and/or Experience: • Bachelor's degree. • Minimum 5 years' experience with survey data collection and management, include 2 years' experience in survey design and development. • Applied knowledge of any online survey software (Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Survey Gizmo, etc.). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration) • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology or Life Sciences/Healthcare/science related field. • Experience with survey data collection, management and design within clinical research settings. • Programming experience in Qualtrics. • Expertise with reporting tools; Oracle Business Intelligence, Looker, and/or SAS preferred. • Experience with software integration technologies.
