Special Education Compliance Specialist

Job Description: • Deliver specific course content in an online environment • Provide instruction, support, and guidance • Manage the learning process and focus on students’ individual needs • Develop compliant IEP’s, progress reports and other required documentation • Communicate with parents and staff to ensure appropriate services • Facilitate and lead collaborative special education meetings • Make modifications and accommodations to lessons and assessments • Analyze student data to prescribe remediation and enrichment Requirements: • Bachelor's degree • Active State Special Education teaching license • Ability to clear required background check • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint • Strong written/verbal communication skills Benefits: • Travel up to 20% of the time for face-to-face professional development and student testing • Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities • Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday
