We're now seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Development to join our remote team. As a key member of our Corporate Development team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth through mergers, acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small but mighty team that works across the enterprise to build a proactive pipeline of merger and acquisition activity, cultivate key external partnerships, and enhance Target's presence in the market. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct valuation analyses and business/integration case modeling to provide detailed guidance on potential acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and divestitures. • Support all aspects of executing corporate development transactions, including pipeline development, deal execution, investment management, and acquisition integration. • Prepare company profiles and summaries using primary and secondary research materials to support pipeline initiatives. • Facilitate and manage acquisition and investment processes with cross-functional groups, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication. • Research competitive information and key concepts to raise the overall level of strategic thinking throughout the company. • Communicate complex analysis and recommendations to leadership, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making. • Collaborate with Target's Capital Finance team to analyze store performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to drive growth. Essential Qualifications: • 5+ years of relevant finance experience, including FP&A and/or M&A experience, with a focus on valuation using discounted cash flows. • Strong financial analysis and structuring skills, including discounted cash flow modeling and in-depth understanding of financial statements. • Proven track record of deal analysis and execution, with a demonstrated ability to drive results in complex business environments. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and negotiate effectively. • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and organizational skills, with a passion for delivering results-driven solutions. • Superior leadership skills, with the ability to influence team members and business partners to address complex business challenges. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience developing both high-level and detailed business cases, with a focus on driving strategic growth and innovation. • Ability to interpret complex information and communicate results effectively to diverse audiences. • Strong understanding of the retail industry, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities to drive growth and improvement.
