We create positive relationships and engagement strategies with a wide range of audiences, including media, investors, influencers, and policymakers.What You'll DoEpic is looking for an experienced communications professional to join our technology communications team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in product and technology communications and will lead campaigns for Unreal Engine, Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), the Epic Games Store, Fab, Epic Online Services, Kids Web Services, MetaHuman, and more.In this role, you willLead global communications campaigns across Epic’s developer and creator tools, services and marketplacesSupport product and feature launches with communications strategies that resonate with press and the developer communityBe a core part of the team developing narratives, messaging and communications strategies for industry events as well as Unreal FestBecome a subject matter expert in Epic’s tools and technologies with the ability to explain complex topics simplyPartner closely and build trust with teams across Epic including product, creator relations, community, social and legalEstablish and maintain relationships with journalists across games, technology, consumer, enterprise and business mediaSupport crisis communications efforts related to Epic’s developer ecosystemWhat We're Looking For7+ years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably with in-house experienceExperience working on highly technical products with a focus on the developer communityExperience building and executing global communications programsA proactive problem solver, with strong instincts for when to escalate issuesSomeone who moves fast, is focused on delivering results, and has a track record of working well across a diverse group of partnersSomeone with excellent writing and verbal communication skillsLooking for candidates on the East Coast in the United StatesEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEOur intent is to cover all things that are medically necessary and improve the quality of life.
