RN- Telephone Triage
We're Hiring: Remote Triage RN Location: Remote Job Type: Full time Compensation: $40 Schedule: 4 x10 hr day shift and rotating Weekends Start Date: Dec 2025 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Remote Triage Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide safe, effective, and evidence-based telephone triage to patients and their families. The RN will combine clinical expertise with a decision support tool to ensure consistent, high-quality care and service delivery. Key Responsibilities • Respond promptly to incoming calls, providing standardized care and benefits navigation while establishing professional rapport. • Conduct thorough clinical assessments of symptoms and determine the appropriate level of care using established guidelines. • Follow standard protocols and procedures to ensure safe and consistent triage services. • Educate patients using clear, patient-friendly communication, ensuring they understand recommendations and next steps. • Route members to appropriate internal or external benefits and community resources as needed. • Provide triage support for urgent prescription needs and serve as the central contact for emergency escalations. • Uphold organizational core values and deliver patient-centered care. • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in a compact state. • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience (triage, emergency, urgent care, or primary care preferred). • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. • Proficiency with clinical decision support tools and EMR systems a plus. • Commitment to patient advocacy, confidentiality, and quality care.
