Job Title: Business Development Representative – Staffing Sales (100% Commission, Remote) This is a 100% commission paid position (no salary or benefits) and we are looking for candidates who have experience performing business development in the staffing industry or have relationships with hiring managers, HR and/or procurement (parties that can give you job openings...) We are not looking for a recruiter to recruit for our positions. We partner with clients to deliver flexible, high-quality 1099 and W-2 talent through our Agent of Record and traditional staffing models. We’re growing rapidly and seeking experienced business development professionals who want to work independently and earn high commissions based purely on performance. Position Overview This is a commission-only (no salary or benefits), remote business development role for an entrepreneurial professional with experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce solutions. You’ll be responsible for prospecting, securing new client accounts, and managing open requisitions through fulfillment. Atlas can support your job openings from a recruiting perspective if you choose. Atlas provides full back-office support — recruiting support, compliance, payroll funding, onboarding, insurance, and invoicing — so you can focus on what you do best: bringing in new business and filling roles (or letting Atlas fill your roles.) Key Responsibilities • Identify, prospect, and close new client accounts for contract and temporary staffing. • Develop and maintain strong client relationships for ongoing staffing needs. • Source, screen, and submit qualified candidates to open positions. • Negotiate bill rates and contracts in alignment with company margin goals. • Collaborate with Atlas operations for onboarding, payroll, and client billing. • Maintain accurate activity tracking (clients, submittals, placements). Compensation • 100% Commission Only (1099) — no base salary or benefits. • Earn a generous share of the gross profit (margin) on all placements you bring in. • Commission is residual while contractors remain on billing. There is no cap on earnings — top producers can build a recurring revenue stream that grows month over month. Ideal Candidate • 2+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce sales. • Comfortable working independently in a 1099 commission-only model. • Proven ability to generate and close new client business. • Familiar with full-cycle recruiting (client management + candidate sourcing). • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. • Self-driven, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
