Remote Temporary Employee Relations Professional - HR Shared Services - Aramark - Philadelphia, PA - work from home job Company: Aramark Job description: Job Description The HR Manager, HR Shared Services is responsible for providing support to managers and employees regarding HR policies and practices, researching and/or investigating concerns and making recommendations that promote positive employee relations. • This is a temporary assignment covering for an employee leave. The estimated time in the role will be 12-15 weeks. The main area of responsibility is to serve as a resource to management and employees in solving day-to-day workplace matters. This includes conducting workplace investigations and recommending effective solutions and corrective actions in accordance with policy and applicable laws, as well as advising on performance management. Job Responsibilities • Issue resolution, follow up and recommendations for corporate COE’s including but not limited to: Hotline calls response, investigation and follow, Corrective action/performance management consulting, and Policy interpretation • Employee Engagement Initiatives – Engagement Action Plan development and follow-up, corporate engagement and celebration activities point of contact/coordinator • Talent Acquisition – corporate Accelerate to Leadership and Step up to Leadership point of contact • HR metrics reporting and analysis • Benefits and Payroll assistance as needed • On-boarding programs and initiatives At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice. #LI-Remote Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is required. • 5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR generalist or related experience • HR certification is preferred • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws • Demonstrated experience working across multiple states • Exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a fair and consistent manner • Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and diplomacy and remain neutral in difficult employee relations issues • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with individuals at all levels within the organization • Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information on a daily basis and maintain confidentiality • Work independently to analyze data and provide management with constructive recommendations • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with case management technology preferred • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred About Aramark Our Mission Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
