ResponsibilitiesManage the construction process for new, relocated, and expanded storesManage the construction process for remodels and renovations of existing storesEnsure Dollar Tree quality and financial standards are metVisit store project sites to confirm construction progress and scheduleHold Landlords, Architects/Engineers, and General Contractors accountableCommunicate with landlords and internal partners regarding project timelinessKeep all internal and external stakeholders updated on project statusInput, maintain, and manage construction key dates in the project management systemSimultaneously manage 30-50 projects per yearSolicit and train new and existing general contractorsRecommend selection of general contractors after bid vettingAward construction contracts after cost variance analysisEffectively manage all facets of the Construction ContractConduct site visits to ensure projects are kept on scheduleManage the RFC and CO process, analyzing legitimacy and cost of change ordersEnsure completion of store punch list items and follow up on warranty itemsMaintain and input all construction key dates and upload documents into the SLM programProvide cost estimates on new projectsMeet with stakeholders to conduct project autopsies and identify lessons learnedRequirementsMust be located near a major airport in Washington StateStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skills
