[Remote] Senior Scientist-Stem Cell Biology
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Senior Scientist for an early-stage, innovation-driven biotechnology company focused on developing next-generation regenerative therapies. The successful candidate will provide scientific leadership, collaborate with external partners, and support key translational milestones in stem cell and exosome-based therapies. Responsibilities • Provide scientific leadership and strategic input across programs focused on stem cell-and exosome-based therapies in regenerative medicine. • Collaborate with CROs, academic partners, and internal stakeholders to guide the design, execution, and interpretation of preclinical and early clinical studies. • Support the development of IND-enabling study plans, regulatory documentation, and cross-functional communication related to translational strategy. • Identify opportunities to integrate emerging technologies (e.g., nanomaterials, machine learning, high-throughput screening) into the therapeutic development pipeline. • Translate high-level research questions into actionable study designs; synthesize data and insights to inform go/no-go decisions and program prioritization. • Participate in the evaluation of novel platforms, tools, or partnerships that could enhance program success. • Contribute to internal and external communications, including scientific presentations, publications, and investor or partner meetings. Skills • Ph.D. in Stem Cell and Exosome Biology, Developmental Biology, Bioengineering, Translational Science, or a related life science discipline. • 2–5 years of postdoctoral or industry experience with demonstrated impact in translational or early-stage therapeutic development. • Broad understanding of stem cell and exosome biology, organoid systems, or tissue engineering, ideally with exposure to regulatory and clinical development processes. • Experience collaborating with CROs or external partners in the context of preclinical or clinical research. • Strong interest or background in nanotechnology, computational biology, or AI-enabled approaches in life sciences. • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. • Prior involvement in regulatory submissions (e.g., INDs), clinical trial planning, or interactions with regulatory agencies. • Familiarity with the integration of data science tools, machine learning models, or multi-omic data interpretation in therapeutic research. • Experience in a small company or startup environment, with the flexibility and initiative that such settings require. • Publication or patent record demonstrating innovative, cross-disciplinary work.
