[Remote] Sales Representative – Veterinary & Animal Welfare Focus
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Shelters United is a Group Purchasing Organization serving nonprofit animal welfare organizations. They are seeking a high-performing Sales Representative to recruit nonprofit animal welfare organizations and promote veterinary products and services from partner companies. Responsibilities • Recruit new nonprofit animal welfare organizations (AWOs) into the GPO. • Promote and sell a wide range of veterinary and animal care products to member organizations. • Maintain consistent high-volume outreach (50–70 calls per day with follow-up emails). • Manage accounts and build strong, ongoing member relationships. • Accurately capture and manage lead and customer data in Salesforce. • Continuously expand product and partner knowledge to better serve member needs. Skills • Veterinary pharmaceutical, animal health, or pet product sales experience and/or experience managing or directing an animal shelter or rescue. • Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales goals. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Success working in a remote, phone-based sales environment with minimal supervision. • Strong time management, customer service, and organizational skills. • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and general computer applications.
