They are seeking a Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while managing resources and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities • Develops department goals objectives policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with business unit policies and procedures and governmental and accreditation regulations. • Develops and recommends department operating budget and manages resources according to approved budget. • Selects trains orients and assigns department staff. Develops standards of performance evaluates performance and conducts performance management planning. Initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions. Maintains ongoing communication with subordinates to review programs provide feedback discuss new developments and exchange information. • Develops and contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards. Ensures compliance with hospital/facility policies and procedures and governmental/accreditation regulations. • Builds develops and grows business relationships vital to the success of the project. • Conducts project post-mortems and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. • Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management. • Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. • Directs and manages project development from beginning to end. Defines project scope goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Acts as liaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. • Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary. When required negotiates with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company. Determines and assesses need for additional staff and/or consultants and makes the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle. • Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path. Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Tracks project milestones and deliverables. Develops and delivers progress reports proposals requirements documentation and presentations. Determines the frequency and content of status reports form the project team analyzes results and troubleshoots problem areas. • Proactively manages changes in project scope identifies potential crises and devises contingency plans. Defines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. • Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team. Coaches mentors motivates and supervises project team members and contractors and influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. • Participates in meetings and on committees and represents the department and business unit in community outreach efforts. • Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams and maintains effective working relationships with other departments. • Performs other duties as assigned. Skills • Bachelor's degree in the field of healthcare information technology required or project management required • 5-7 years 6 years work experience in a project management capacity including all aspects of process development and execution required • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI PMP Certification is required within 6 months of employment within 180 Days required • Basic computer skills. • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
