As a Remote Medical Prior Authorizations Specialist, you'll play a critical role in our team, working closely with healthcare professionals, patients, and insurance carriers to ensure seamless prior authorizations. Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to healthcare providers, patients, and insurance carriers to gather and verify information Respond to inbound calls as needed, providing expert support and resolving queries Utilize computer skills for efficient data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Gather and review patient billing and medical information, analyzing complex problems and providing expert solutions Operate in accordance with Federal Health Care Program guidelines, maintaining compliance and integrity Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide insights and expertise, driving process improvements Work with insurance carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of patients, resolving issues and negotiating when necessary Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: At least 1 year of previous Medical Benefits experience (prior authorization experience a plus) Medical call center experience (desirable but not required) Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors efficiently Excellent work attitude, with a willingness to help others and work collaboratively as a team High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in prior authorizations Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and healthcare regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders What We Offer As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy: A competitive hourly rate of $17/hr Weekly pay and benefits Flexible scheduling: 8-hour shift between 7 am-8 pm CST, Monday to Friday Equipment provided, ensuring you're set up for success from day one Opportunities for career growth and professional development in a rapidly expanding company A dynamic, supportive work environment that fosters collaboration and innovation Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits We're committed to helping you grow professionally and advance in your career.
