As a Ramp & Customer Service Agent, you will be an integral part of this effort, working collaboratively with our airport teams to provide world-class service to our guests. **Key Responsibilities** As a Ramp & Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: * Assisting guests with travel needs, such as answering inquiries, baggage handling, ticketing, checking-in passengers, and boarding flights * Performing below-wing functions, such as transporting baggage and cargo, loading and offloading luggage and cargo, aircraft marshaling, pushing back the aircraft, and aircraft deicing * Performing aircraft grooming and security searches * Processing and securing guest luggage, including filing and maintaining luggage claims as necessary * Loading and offloading luggage and cargo using conveyor belts * Assisting and directing guests, making announcements, processing standby's and upgrade requests * Performing other duties as assigned by management to ensure complete guest satisfaction **A Day in the Life** As a Ramp & Customer Service Agent, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and interactions. You will work closely with our airport teams to ensure that every guest has a seamless and enjoyable experience. You will be responsible for handling multiple tasks simultaneously, working in a fast-paced environment, and adapting to changing situations. Your ability to think on your feet, communicate effectively, and provide exceptional customer service will be essential to your success in this role. **Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills** To be successful as a Ramp & Customer Service Agent, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Valid unexpired driver's license issued by a US state, a US territory, or the District of Columbia * Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system * Typing speed of at least 25 WPM * Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds * Ability to stand for long periods of time * Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and grasp * Ability to perform basic mathematics * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays * Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel * Depending on work location, ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification * Ability to obtain airport security clearance * Ability to communicate in English * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum age of 18 * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. **Preferred Qualifications** * A minimum of 1 year of customer service or community service experience * Airport SIDA Badge Requirements: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge.
