Flex hours (choose your start/stop time). RAEGAN HILL GROUP has been retained to manage and conduct a search for a Marketing Director for a successful and profitable B2B marketing/media agency. Located in The Woodlands, TX our client provides marketing/digital marketing services to many of the largest publishers in the world, such as NBC Universal, Dow Jones, Wirecutter, Conde Nast and ESSENCE. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Director is responsible for agency client’s digital marketing and the agency’s digital marketing. This is a leadership role, providing leadership and management to the marketing team as directed by the VP of Marketing. Experience managing a small team of marketing professionals, B2B marketing experience and advanced experience working with HubSpot is required. Some agency side experience strongly desired. WHO YOU ARE You have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and excel at leading integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. You enjoy managing various channels like social media networks, website content and email marketing to deliver a persuasive and cohesive marketing message to the agency’s audience. You have advanced experience working within HubSpot. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING • Work within the agency’s Marketing Automation tool (HubSpot) to strategize and execute all digital marketing, including managing the database, emails and landing pages (be the subject matter expert) • Lead a marketing group within marketing of 3 to 5 people • Collaborate with Business Development and Inside Sales to create digital marketing assets and campaigns for targeted audiences • Oversight of website marketing strategy (WordPress) • Evaluate, measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) • Evaluate emerging technologies and identify marketing trends/insights. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate • Create a social media strategy and manage the execution of (with direct reports) • Create and manage accurate contact segmentation using advanced Excel methods for importing into Salesforce CRM tool • Work with internal teams to produce relevant, revenue generating content (collateral, sales sheets, etc.) that meets the needs of the agency’s audience REQUIREMENTS • BA Degree in Marketing or similar field (preferred, but not required) • Comfortable working in a hybrid setting (2 days WFH, 3 days on-site - see details below) • Approximately 5-7+ years’ experience in B2B digital marketing with an emphasis on CRM, marketing automation, email marketing and campaign optimization • Brand (Corporate) side experience, agency side experience or a combination will be considered • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite • Experience working with large marketing automation tools – HubSpot strongly preferred • Knowledge of CRM concepts and/or experience with Salesforce • Familiar with WordPress or similar content management system (CMS) along with basic knowledge of HTML/CSS • Strong writing/copywriting skills • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (for contact data segmentation clean-up) • Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills • Able to stay organized and on time; experience working with a project management tool (client uses Monday.com) • Strong attention to detail and good sense of creative design • Basic knowledge of Google AdWords/Remarketing is a plus • You love marketing, and digital marketing is your chosen career path • You are productive and efficient when working independently • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to rapidly adapt to change and self-motivate in a results-driven culture • Customer service attitude; you believe deeply in being of service to others; always looking for ways to exceed the expectations of the customer • Highly intuitive; able to anticipate what’s needed next and take action • Excellent collaboration and team motivation skills • Mentor mindset; great at building a positive, cooperative vibe within a hybrid marketing team BENEFITS / PERKS • You’ll be reporting to a highly collaborative, people-first marketing leader whose greatest leadership strengths are mentoring, coaching and respectful constructive feedback • Agency will cover the cost for you to become HubSpot Certified, if not already • Hybrid Schedule - WFH.
