New Product Integration Director
Meta is seeking an experienced New Product Integration Director to drive the end-to-end process of transitioning hardware platforms from validation through to production deployment across our global data center infrastructure. This role is responsible for leading the complex, multi-phase New Product Introduction (NPI) process that moves compute, storage, and network hardware from ODM, OEM, and traditional vendor sources through validation phases to mass production.As an NPI Leader, you will orchestrate the integration of cutting-edge hardware platforms including AI/ML accelerators, next-generation compute systems, and advanced storage solutions that power Meta’s suite of applications serving billions of users globally. You will work at the intersection of hardware engineering, data center operations, and production systems to ensure seamless hardware platform transitions that meet Meta’s stringent operational requirements.New Product Integration Director ResponsibilitiesLead operational readiness reviews of hardware platform transitions from Engineering Validation Testing (EVT), Design Validation Testing (DVT), Production Validation Testing (PVT), to Mass Production deployment and including as we scaleCoordinate cross-functional teams across 5+ technical domains to ensure operational readinessDrive operational excellence initiatives that directly impact Meta’s infrastructure reliability and efficiencyEstablish and enforce quality standards that enhance and optimize fleet performanceCoordinate complex multi-quarter programs involving hardware validation, tooling development, and operational readiness across global data center regionsPartner with cross functional teams to drive program alignment and deliveryManage stakeholder relationships across engineering, operations, supply chain, and business teams to ensure program successLead technical trade-off discussions and drive decision-making processes that balance performance, reliability, cost, and timeline considerationsEstablish and monitor operational readiness criteria including maintenance enablement, spare parts strategy, repair workflows, and monitoring coverageDrive implementation of quality assurance frameworks including automated testing, failure detection systems, and operational metrics trackingEnsure platforms meet Meta’s Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for availability, performance, and maintainability before production deploymentMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Business or Science field, or commensurate experience8+ years of experience in hardware integration, product development, or technical program management in technology environments5+ years leading complex, multi-team technical programs with hardware componentsDirect experience with New Product Introduction processes in hardware or infrastructure environments (at scale)Demonstrated understanding of server hardware, data center infrastructure, or related hardware systemsProven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationshipsExperience with large-scale infrastructure environments or hyperscale data center operationsExperience managing relationships with ODM/OEM hardware vendors and supply chain partnersKnowledge of quality management systems, reliability engineering, or Six Sigma methodologiesExperience with data center infrastructure requirements including power, cooling, space, and network connectivity constraintsDemonstrable understanding of cloud infrastructure, AI/ML hardware platforms, or data center technologiesEffective written and verbal communication skills with experience influencing at all organizational levels For those who live in or expect to work from California if hired for this position, please click here for additional information.
