Responsibilities
• Identify growth opportunities and business model innovations
• Facilitate cross-business unit initiatives to enhance collaboration
• Perform complex financial modeling for potential strategic investments
• Analyze competitive intelligence and industry trends to inform strategic decisions
• Engage with key external contacts, serving as a spokesperson and consultant on major matters
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff, fostering skill development and professional growth
• Lead strategic planning efforts, applying advanced techniques to develop innovative solutions aligned with organizational goals
• Innovate and manage business models, capable of making improvement recommendations and guiding others in creative ideation processes
• Mentor others in competitive intelligence and industry trends
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PhD, etc.) preferred
• 5+ years of experience in strategic initiatives, communications, consulting, or related roles within healthcare, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills; experience drafting executive-level content is essential
• Proven experience creating presentations for senior executives, using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Thinkcell, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize technical or operational data into clear narratives
• Adept at stakeholder management and building relationships with senior leaders and diverse teams
Nice-to-haves
• Solid understanding of the drug development process and lifecycle management
• Experience working in a multinational setting with international affiliates
• Proven track record of influencing throughout the matrix, leading through ambiguity, and working diplomatically through conflict
