Job Overview
As a Senior Scrum Master/Agile Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Scrum practices and processes within the team. You'll serve as a vital link between the Product Owner and the Agile software development team, driving peak productivity and facilitating the team's progress. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the organization towards adopting Agile development practices, and you'll play a key role in shaping the company's technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and demos, ensuring seamless collaboration and maximum productivity.
- Coach and mentor the Agile software development team, Product Owner, and stakeholders on Scrum principles, practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving the team to adopt technical engineering best practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and refactoring.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is refined, prioritized, and ready for sprint planning, and facilitate effective communication between the team and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement Agile metrics and reporting to measure team performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform data-driven decision-making.
- Provide guidance and support to team members in overcoming obstacles, resolving conflicts, and improving overall team dynamics.
- Participate in Agile training and workshops, both as a facilitator and a participant, to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Drive the adoption of Agile development practices across the organization, working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement change.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in technology, with a focus on Scrum Master/Agile Leadership roles and/or Agile Project Management, and a proven track record of increasing responsibility.
- A strong background in facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and demos.
- A deep understanding of technical engineering best practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and refactoring.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
