The Role: Senior Product Designer, Acquisition
As a Senior Product Designer on our Acquisition team, you'll play a critical role in shaping the user experience for our global audience. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, consumer insight researchers, engineers, and stakeholders to design and develop acquisition products that turn non-members into informed, delighted, and satisfied Netflix customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative acquisition products that drive user growth and revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product opportunities
- Conduct user research to inform product decisions and validate design solutions
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Netflix's brand and design principles
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts
- Work closely with product managers to define product requirements and develop product roadmaps
- Analyze data and experiment results to inform design decisions and iterate on product solutions
- Communicate design decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders and team members
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in product design, with a focus on acquisition products. Here are the essential qualifications and skills we're looking for:
Essential Qualifications:
- 10+ years of product design experience, with a focus on consumer products and scaling products from zero to large user bases
- Extensive experience working with web and native mobile products, with TV UI experience a plus
- Strong portfolio that showcases your design skills and experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to think critically and creatively, with a willingness to experiment and learn
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with test-driven and algorithm-driven products
- Deep understanding of experimentation-driven design processes
- Experience leading and executing creative visions for brand-forward landing pages and acquisition funnels
- Ability to wear a product manager's hat and think through the lens of business impact
