Job Summary: We're looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Regulatory and Government Affairs. In this role, you'll be responsible for: Representing Verizon's interests before state regulatory commissions and legislative policy committees in California and other states Developing and executing strategies to impact public policy issues affecting our business Coordinating outreach with trade associations, stakeholders, and community leaders to advance our priority issues Testifying before state regulatory commissions and managing subject matter experts as needed Collecting, analyzing, and preparing data to inform our regulatory and government affairs efforts Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations Requirements: To be successful in this role, you'll need: 6+ years of experience in regulatory and government affairs, preferably in the communications, cable, or utilities industries Knowledge of public policy issues, including pricing, competition, and service quality Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to navigate complex problems, build consensus, and collaborate on solutions Unwavering commitment to ethics and legal compliance Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following, you'll be an even stronger candidate: Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Affairs, or a related field Experience working at the California Public Utilities Commission or other state or federal regulatory agency Strong planning and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities What We Offer: In addition to a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, you'll enjoy: A flexible, hybrid remote work arrangement Opportunities for professional growth and development A collaborative, inclusive work environment A diverse, dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference How to Apply: If you're ready to take your career to the next level and join a team of innovators and leaders, please submit your application today.
