We're looking to add an established agency management professional to our Global Brand & Marketing Communications team. This role sits across the global American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) brand and requires a leader with experience in managing a large agency portfolio for a global brand.

This person will be a critical part of orchestrating this transformation with our creative & media agency partners, alongside leading key projects within the Marketing function.
As a marketing leader, you'll be a key part of our mission of Powering Progress Through Travel. In this role you will lead all relationships with our agency partners, developing a strategic approach to how and where our agency partners integrate. You will work closely with our Procurement team to deliver value to the organization and hold accountability for creative and operational output of the agency teams. You will also lead a team of Global Brand & Marketing Communications Project Managers who run the largest cross-functional marketing programs in the marketing plan.
This can be based at either 5 Churchill Place, London or 666 3rd Ave, New York (hybrid working is in place).
What YouÂll Do:
- Develop our future global agency strategy for creative, production and media.
- Manage day-to-day engagement with agency leaders, developing the agency performance management framework to deliver operational excellence.
- Lead on creative oversight process and engagement between Marketing and our agency partners  driving continuous improvement across all phases of creative development.
- Own media agency relationship including measurement of agency success, working closely with Global Brand and Performance Marketing teams to ensure service excellence is being achieved.
- Coordinate agency renewals, rate card negotiation, contracts, and service provisions by partnering with the Amex GBT Procurement team.
- Lead the Global Brand & Marketing Communications Project Management team, delivering cross-functional support for large marketing projects.
- Play an active role in the leadership of the Global Brand & Marketing Communications team.
- Responsible for governance of all agency partners and project delivery, working closely with the Amex GBT General CounselÂs Office to ensure compliance with all appropriate standards.

- Significant experience working in a large global business leading agency relationships.
- Clear experience of managing negotiation with third parties.
- Qualified project manager with experience of leading projects at scale.
- Open-minded, excitement to try new tactics, and perseverance to see projects to completion.
- Able to lead and operate effectively through periods of significant change.
- Effective senior stakeholder management and able to operate across matrix organizations.
- Proven experience of delivering results in highly commercial environment.
- International experience working with remote teams and time zones is a plus.
