About the Role: Senior Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from home, navigating complex healthcare claim calls from providers and ensuring seamless resolution. This is a full-time position, requiring your availability from Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm CST, with occasional overtime as needed. You will undergo comprehensive on-the-job training, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and research incoming healthcare claim calls from providers, utilizing multiple computer systems and platforms to verify data and information necessary for processing.
- Engage with providers through active listening and clear communication, resolving issues and documenting required information in computer systems.
- Meet performance goals in efficiency, accuracy, quality, and attendance, consistently delivering high-quality results and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues, leveraging your problem-solving skills and knowledge of healthcare systems.
Requirements for Success:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills.
- Working knowledge of computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new and complex systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with providers and internal stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently in a remote setting, maintaining productivity and focus in a highly detailed and repetitive task environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications will be advantageous:
- 1 year of experience in a related environment, such as office, administrative, clerical, customer service, or healthcare.
- Healthcare experience, providing a deeper understanding of the industry and its complexities.
Telecommuting Requirements:
To ensure your success as a remote worker, you will need:
- To reside within the CST or MST time zone, enabling you to work seamlessly with our team and stakeholders.
- A dedicated work area that is secure, private, and free from distractions, with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents with care, adhering to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy.
