About the Role

The Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics, will play a critical role in leading the charge against adversarial abuse and developing data-driven insights to inform strategic decision making. As a key member of the Trust and Safety team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, and engagement manipulation
• Develop and implement strategies to stay ahead of emerging industry trends and threats, such as generative AI
• Collaborate with the Policy Development team to create policies that effectively describe and prevent harmful behavior
• Deliver effective and efficient operational performance, including quality and service levels, in a global team working 24/7
• Manage accelerations with tight timelines, providing data-driven insights and implementing policies while building relationships with key cross-functional partners
• Lead the Business Analytics team in generating insights, measuring uncaught badness, and publishing Transparency Reports for countries around the world

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/deploying analytical models
• 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that shape data infrastructure and ML models
• 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks of work as accelerations require

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., analytics, engineering, data science)
• 2 years of experience in analysis of large datasets and anomaly detection
• Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities
• Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab
• Exceptional influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
• Excellent business judgment, strategic and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action
