About the Role As a Senior Counsel, Privacy, you will: Develop and maintain a comprehensive privacy framework that ensures compliance with domestic and international privacy laws and best practices. Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy into the design of new products, features, and business initiatives. Provide expert advice to product and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle to mitigate legal risks and advance business goals. Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure that data protection provisions are incorporated into vendor, partner, and merchant agreements. Maintain up-to-date internal and external privacy policies and procedures. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: A J.D. degree and admission to any state bar. 8+ years of legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, with a focus on privacy and data protection issues. Familiarity with global privacy frameworks and advising on privacy issues. Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills. A proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
