The Founding Sales Development Representative will play a crucial role in establishing the sales development function, pursuing leads, and generating qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage supply chain leaders at ICP-aligned companies through outbound outreach and discovery conversations
- Consistently generate qualified meetings that convert into ~8 Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs) per month
- Maintain a clean, intentional pipeline focused on fit and timing
- Meet weekly activity expectations across calls, email, and social channels
- Run structured outreach with a bias toward learning what works and why
- Log interactions accurately in the CRM to ensure real visibility into pipeline and performance
- Communicate Silq’s value clearly across technology, service, and execution—not buzzwords
- Work closely with Account Executives to refine qualification, handoff, and follow-up
- Participate in improving targeting, messaging, and sales development processes
- Raise issues early and contribute to solutions that make the system better
