Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Cashier at Love's, you'll be the face of our company, providing fast, friendly, and accurate services to our customers. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and welcoming space while ensuring that our customers have an exceptional experience. You'll have the opportunity to perform various duties, including customer service, cash handling, and inventory management. We're looking for individuals with a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing customer needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate a cash register, completing customer transactions, and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the sales floor, restrooms, and gas/diesel pumps.
• Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Cross-train in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

We're looking for individuals with the following qualifications:

• Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Experience with inventory management or point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
