They are seeking a part-time, remote Volunteer Corporate Secretary to oversee administrative processes, manage board meetings, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the organization’s administrative processes, including managing board meetings, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Collaboration with the board and executive team
• Preparation of meeting agendas
• Recording minutes
• Liaising with stakeholders to maintain effective communication and organizational transparency
Skills
• Knowledge of corporate governance principles and understanding of nonprofit organizations
• Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Prior experience in nonprofit or corporate governance is a plus
