Key Responsibilities: Transcribe dictated recordings of varying lengths and audio quality with high accuracy and attention to detail Properly format legal documents, including insurance forms, letters, memos, and notes, using Microsoft Word 2007 or newer Conduct basic research to ensure accuracy and completeness of work, including verifying legal terms, medical terms, locations, and names Adhere to E-Typist Guidelines and client preferences, proofreading work before submission to ensure error-free deliverables Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum typing speed of 65 WPM Recent experience in dictation transcription and word processing (within the last 5 years) Strong knowledge of legal terminology, including workers' compensation and court documents Excellent English grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word 2007 or newer, including advanced formatting features Reliable high-speed internet access, computer or laptop with Windows 7 or higher, and Microsoft Office 365 Transcription pedal and headphones (recommended models: and ) Success Criteria and Benefits: Work a minimum of 3 days per week, with flexible scheduling and the ability to choose your own hours Maintain high accuracy ratings for spelling, grammar, and formatting (95% or higher after the first 30 days) Competitive pay rate (estimated $10.00 - $18.00 per hour), paid per word Opportunity to work remotely from your home office, with a typing pool open 24/7 How to Apply: If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for transcription, please submit your application to join our team.
