Position Overview
As a Remote Educational Assistant specializing in Special Education inclusion, you will provide direct support to classroom teachers, facilitate individualized instruction, and ensure compliance with New Mexico’s Special Education regulations. Essential Qualifications (Must‑Have)
We are looking for candidates who meet the following baseline criteria:
- Associate’s degree or higher, OR completion of at least 48 credit hours from an accredited college/university.
- Successfully passed the ParaPro assessment, or eligibility to obtain an Educational Assistant licensure issued by the New Mexico Public Education Department.
- Demonstrated experience working as an educational assistant, preferably within a special‑education or inclusive setting.
- Ability to obtain a background check, including an FBI fingerprint clearance, at the candidate’s expense.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have)
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills in both languages.
